CALL FOR SCHOLARSHIP SELECTION – No. 00004/2025 – Research Scholarship – Artificial Intelligence and Optimization.
The National Industrial Training Service – Regional Department of Santa Catarina makes public this Call for Selection of Scholarship Holders and invites interested parties to apply, according to the criteria established herein.
Level of education: Completed Master's degree.
Education: Engineering, Computer Science and related areas.
Necessary Requirements:
Programming languages like Python;
Data structures and algorithms;
Statistic;
Machine Learning: Familiarity with libraries such as scikit-learn, TensorFlow, Keras, PyTorch;
Neural Networks and Deep Learning;
Handling large volumes of data with libraries such as pandas, NumPy. Data cleaning and preprocessing;
Use of Git and platforms like GitHub or GitLab for version control;
Desirable knowledge:
API development;
Knowledge to create and integrate APIs to use AI models in production. Data Visualization Tools;
Knowledge of libraries such as matplotlib, seaborn, Plotly for visualizing data and results;
Knowledge of Academic Work or Research Projects;
Publications, participation in academic events, or involvement with research groups in the area of AI.
Description and Objectives of the R&D&I Project:
The project aims to apply advanced AI techniques focusing on the development of model training and analytics for industry problems.

Work Plan Title:
Development of machine learning algorithms.
Complete Master's Degree R$ 5,241.73
Working hours: 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week, 200 hours per month.
Project Execution Period: 12/01/2024 – 01/28/2026
Grant Term: 12 months – * with the possibility of extension depending on the continuity of the project.
Location: SENAI Institute of Innovation in Embedded Systems.
