We are looking for a Junior Network Analyst to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of network administration, with a focus on PFsense and AWS. This professional will be responsible for assisting in the maintenance, configuration, and support of network infrastructure, both on-premises and in cloud environments.
Responsibilities:
Assist in the administration and configuration of firewalls using PFsense;
Monitor and manage cloud network environments, especially in AWS;
Assist in implementing and maintaining VPNs, routing and firewall rules;
Collaborate in the configuration and management of instances and services in AWS, such as VPC, EC2, S3, and RDS;
Monitor and analyze network and cloud service logs to ensure system security and integrity;
Assist in resolving incidents and problems related to networks and cloud infrastructure;
Document network configurations, procedures, and topologies.
Requirements:
Higher education (ongoing or completed) in Computer Networks, Information Technology or related areas;
Basic knowledge of firewall administration, preferably with experience in PFsense;
Familiarity with configuring and managing cloud environments, especially AWS;
Knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and network security;
Ability to solve problems proactively and work as a team;
Desire to learn and specialize in networking and cloud infrastructure.
Differentials:
Certifications in the area of networks and cloud (CCNA, CompTIA Network+, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, etc.);
Previous experience with PFsense and AWS;
Knowledge in infrastructure automation (Terraform, CloudFormation) and continuous integration.
