Responsibilities and duties
Properly store materials and medicines following the first-expiration-first-out (PVPS) methodology, used for products that have an expiration date; products with expiration dates closest to expiration should be the first to be used;
Meet medical prescriptions from the sectors, as well as incidents in the hospitalization and emergency care sectors;
Respond to incidents in the hospitalization and emergency care sectors;
Provide the hospitalization sectors with materials necessary for nursing procedures and organize separate materials according to the requesting sectors in order to facilitate deliveries;
Assist and contribute to inventory control and accounting of items used by the patient;
Receive, check, register in the company system and store product returns;
Place the information strips with patient data according to the bed in the individual drawers of the medication cart;
Prepare medications in fractional doses, promoting unitary division and labeling of medications according to established standards;
Register, separate, check and deliver medical materials requested in an internal request or via the computer system, according to the established routine;
Check medication and materials as per routine Assembly of surgical kits, ensuring their assembly, integrity and composition, in order to ensure the quality of use of the materials;
Participate in counting items in inventories; Perform weekly counts of materials and medicines, according to established standards;
Perform other related activities at the discretion of the superior.
Requirements and qualifications
Mandatory:
Completed high school.
