• Specific knowledge and skills:
– Experience required in the position or in similar positions in Indirect Purchasing;
– Knowledge of strategic sourcing and supply chain;
– Advanced and intermediate level knowledge of Excel in Power BI;
– Experience in integrated systems in industries, preferably in SAP;
– Have experience in developing the decision matrix, equalizing supply proposals, end-to-end analytical capacity (TCO).
• Activities:
– Carry out the BSP and capex purchasing process for the plants, applying the Strategic Sourcing tool: Spend Analysis, Category Management, Cost Breakdown, Cost Avoidance, TCO (Total Cost of Ownership), etc.
– Research the supplier market for products and services when updating the vendor list (for plants);
– Execute quotation process;
– Issue purchase orders and forward them to suppliers, monitoring the delivery process and final compliance with all negotiated conditions;
– Negotiate with suppliers aiming at greater security in purchasing processes;
– Prepare purchasing process monitoring reports (KPI) focusing on Capex, supplier visits, price variations, communicating to sectors about purchases made, recording order cancellations, in order to effectively control purchases made;
– Carry out purchasing planning, guided by consumption reports, internal requests and purchasing budget;
– Monitor returns, excess stock and any order discrepancies, negotiating the solution to these situations with suppliers;
– Develop a decision matrix in the search for innovation and better ways of acquiring materials and services;
– Lead initiatives/projects to improve the purchasing process by category between company units;
– Provide management reports (KPI) of ongoing activities;
– Deal with Non-Conformities and IQF (supplier quality index) aiming to meet the contracted needs.
