Butcher Coordinator experience as a butcher leader in other chains or meat shops
Coordinate, plan, organize, guide and monitor the tasks of employees in the sector, in order to guarantee the quality of products in their area of activity;
Determine and ensure adequate production so that the products in the mix are always available in the sales area;
Respond to the pricing, validity and display of the products presented;
Purchase fresh beef and pork, always seeking quality and a good price;
Ensure and approve the quality, temperature, weight, etc. of butcher products upon receipt and their correct destination and storage;
Keep the purchasing department informed of stock levels and demands;
Respond for the purchase of fresh meat intended for sale in the butcher's shop;
Monitor employees to ensure compliance with all rules of public bodies (Inmetro, health surveillance, city hall, SIM/SIE;
Work in accordance with technical and quality, safety, hygiene and health standards and procedures;
Supervise the cleaning, hygiene of the workplace and the organization of cold rooms and storage counters, as well as their temperature;
Seek daily to reduce product losses and breakages caused by handling errors, lack of attention in handling, temperature problems, among others, passing on the information to store management;
Train the team on the proper handling of each type of product, avoiding operational breakdowns;
Define the necessary staff, schedule and number of employees, observing the seasonal flow (schedule/week/month);
Monitor the proper use and condition of equipment in the areas under your responsibility and signal the need for preventive and corrective maintenance to the responsible department;
Require the work team to wear uniforms and PPE;
Monitor the hiring of new employees for the sector with HR;
Monitor the training of new employees in the sector;
Carry out functional monitoring of each new employee during the trial period;
Prepare work schedules for the teams under your responsibility and forward them to the store manager in the week before the start of the month for approval.
Manage employee hours;
Hold meetings with the team to check results and define actions;
Warn, suspend and dismiss employees if necessary, in accordance with company policy;
Try to keep the work team motivated.
