Cashier Coordinator Experience leading a cashier team in large markets or as a manager of smaller retail stores
Monitor daily the tasks of the Cashier team (cash service, packages, deliveries and customer service) to ensure they are being carried out in accordance with established guidelines and procedures;
Open and close the store and check the organization of the front, check-outs, parking and visual communications;
Define, together with the store manager, the necessary staff, schedule and number of employees, taking into account the seasonal flow;
Comply with and enforce the rules for receiving checks, cash, tickets and agreements;
Monitor the opening of cash registers, distributing amounts at the beginning of operations and monitor the closing with the Cashier at the end of the day;
Know the operating systems at user level (issuing invoices, customer registration, balances, etc.), the SPC and Serasa systems;
Supervise and mediate relationships between employees and customers;
Seek to get to know customers and improve service every day;
During working hours, carry out any cash withdrawals from cash desks and check home delivery tickets;
Be available to cashiers, assistants and customers to solve problems or provide any assistance that may be necessary, such as checking checks, canceling purchases of items, consulting check records, providing change, forwarding exchanges of goods, operating the cash register, providing information to customers, etc.;
Monitor the service provided by third parties (delivery people);
Always check the maintenance of the sector's equipment, boxes, computers, printers, carts, etc., seeking the company's IT department or technical assistance as necessary;
Maintain discipline in the sector, observing the posture of employees, the use of uniforms and badges, and personal presentation and excellent customer service;
Monitor the training of new employees in the sector and carry out functional assessments during the trial period;
Monitor and participate together with the company's HR department in the hiring of new employees for the sector;
Prepare work and break schedules for the teams under your responsibility and forward them to the store manager in the week before the start of the month for approval.
Manage employee hours;
Hold meetings with the team to check results and define actions;
Warn, suspend and dismiss employees if necessary, in accordance with company policy;
