OPERATOR III – Castro/ PR

PURPOSE AND IMPACT OF THE WORK

Fully operate process equipment in the control room and in the field, collecting samples, performing analyses and recording results. Responsible for executing production activities and controlling process variables.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

Carry out activities in the production sectors included in the large area called Milling

Monitor the process steps (in the field) and laboratory analysis results, checking performance indexes and ensuring the quality of processes and products (complementary to the previous one)

Operate or request the operation of process equipment in the field, activating the appropriate commands and ensuring compliance with pre-established standard procedures.

Perform physical-chemical analyses of a lower degree of complexity during the process flow, aiming to guarantee product quality

Learn about the equipment in the area in order to identify the operating mode and the risks involved with the operation of each piece of equipment

Collect process samples for analysis, whether operational or laboratory

Provide support to the lead operator/shift manager and area supervisor with information from the process and laboratory to make appropriate decisions.

Record shift results and occurrences in the daily production report and process control spreadsheets (manual and system-based)

Carry out and ensure the cleaning and organization of the production area

Carry out inspections at Control Points and Critical Control Points according to the checklist

Change parts of equipment (filters, basket, among others) and perform minor maintenance when necessary

Comply with EHS Policy

Participate in safety programs, such as completing PCS and RDS, as well as using risk assessments before executing critical activities, through PARE and POS

Participate in occupational health and safety training provided at the plant. In addition, participate in training for working at heights, electrical lockouts, working in confined spaces, among others.

Participate in workplace gymnastics in sections throughout the week

Safeguard the company's assets

Follow the company's Food Safety Policy and Procedures, aiming to produce safe food for the end consumer

Follow the Environmental Policy, complying with all legal requirements and avoiding pollution

Carry out activities at a height of more than 1.2 meters and in confined spaces

Seek to improve processes through the continuous improvement system and the energy management system, improving the quality, safety and energy performance of processes. Participating in the control and reduction of energy consumption and its costs.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Completed High School

• Availability to work shifts.

• Experience in production processes (factories) is desirable

• Experience in Office Package desirable
